Hey everyone, my weekly learning reflection,
We have started to do Measurement for Math. We needed to complete three tasks, two about millimetres, metres and kilometres. Our third task was millilitres, litres and kilolitres. A few questions were saying what their 'short' version or abbreviation was like millilitres=ml, kilometres=km.
We have been working hard on our speeches so that they are ready so we can find out who is in the final next week. My speech is about Bullying, saying why bullies bully and the types of bullying and possible ways to overcome it.
We had Kidsedchatnz on Wednesday and I completed my reflection. P.S. I am going to share my weekly reflection with all of you guys reading my blog.
That is all for now, BYE!!

Weekly Learning Reflection
Hi everyone, this is term three, week three's learning reflection. And on with reflecting,
This week we started to write our goals and go through our E-Asttle results. I now know what the levels are and mean because I thought that 'A' is achieved but it is actually 'Advanced'.
For Kidsedchatnz we had the topic the flag debate and I thought it was well chosen chat because of the flag debate currently happening. But 26 million dollars is a lot of money to change the flag when it can be better spent like feeding children that don't take lunch to school or as they are currently doing improving the transport.
On Thursday we went to tech and we are making pewter jewellery. Before we make the jewellery we have to create a mould and the design for the mould has to be Kiwiana, Maori or Pacifica.
We have also been working on our speeches. My speech is about 'Bullies - The Experience', it is about the bullies point of view and types of bullying.

Weekly Learning Reflection T2 W1 & W2
It was our first week back at school!!! We started to write ANZAC poems to go with the art we will be starting.
We went to Auckland Live and were very privileged to see 3 numbers of Singing In The Rain. And Did You Know... that they re use the same water every time they do a performance. Auckland Live is when you do a lot of Drama and Teamwork activities like there was a bird on a screen and using a motion sensor camera we had to work together to uncover the bird from behind the shadow.
(I will continue to add as I remember what we did in the previous 2 weeks).

Week 7 Learning Reflection
The previous week I have been using Mathletics a lot. I have almost completed the Basic Facts area on Mathletics. We were also doing strategies for Numeracy with number lines. For science we made energy changers. They changed energy from potential energy to kinetic energy. Potential energy is energy that has the potential to move, kinetic energy is something that is moving.
We also participated in Kidsedchatnz. The topic was on Food and Nutrition.

Weekly Learning Reflection
At the end of last week Karlson, Meagan and I started to record our Fallen Soldiers ANZAC project. Karlson was the person Meagan was interviewing as William Henry Henderson. I did all the 'Behind the Scenes' work.
We also began our Science with Mrs. Connett on Electricity in the Physical World. Our question is 'What is the most efficient, sustainable source of renewable energy?' We had to take notes and at the end we made a cartoon on Fossil Fuels.
Last week was a big week because we created our blogs. It took a while but at least now we have blogs!!!
